Snow Here Too!

We still have some snow outside, but it was 40 degrees today, so maybe it won't last too much longer! I have been eating a lot lately, but isn't that what I am supposed to do!!?? Mommy says I have dimples on both sides, but I wasn't really in the mood to share them with you in these photos!

One Week Tonight!

Hard to believe it was one week ago that I was born! This has been quite a week with the weather too! It was 80 degrees when mommy and daddy brought me home, yesterday I was supposed to go for a weight check and we were having freezing rain and the doctor's office said not to come! Today we are getting snow, but daddy says by Saturday it will be back up to 65 degrees! We went to the Doctor today, and my weight was back up almost to birth weight, I was 7 lbs. 15 ozs. so everyone was happy! I have been eating alot, so we knew it would be good!

Do you think I might have a dimple on my left cheek?

Bella is getting braver to check me out ~ Mommy was just glad she didn't wake me up!

I sometimes like to sleep on my tummy!

I don't know about that crazy weather outside, Bella sure didn't like to go out it in it either!!

My First Sunday!

I like to sleep in my swing, and of course you have already seen that I really, really, really like to sleep on daddy's or mommy's chest, but I just don't really know about this whole bassinet thing!! We have had another good day at home and I had my first official bath today. That is another thing I am not so sure about, but I am sure that will get better too. Tomorrow I go for another checkup and make sure I am gaining some weight. I have been eating every two hours...........something that mommy is really not so sure about!! :)............... so I think there will be a gain! Bella is still trying to figure me out, especially when I cry!

Dad..............I'm trying to have a little cuddle time here with mom.....OK? Don't tell me to wake up and eat!!

I really like my swing, especially with the soft blanket!

What do you mean I have to come out from under this warm blanket from Heidi and take a bath? And do you see I scratched my nose today too?

Daddy, I told you this was going to be a bad idea!

There we go, all better now! Mommy likes to have me in these sleep shirts, but daddy isn't so sure about his boy being in a 'dress!' Me.............I'm just happy that the bath is over!!

First Day at Home

I had a very good night's sleep in our home..............maybe because I spent the night in bed with mommy and daddy!! They can't help it if they just love to cuddle with me! I went for my well-baby check and everything was fine. I have been mainly wrapped up in blankets, but they did put some clothes on me when we went out! Bella came home and I don't think she is too sure about me coming in and invading her space ~ I think it will all work out when she sees how much fun I can be!

I liked the bouncy chair, and I LOVED my soft blue blanket from Great-great Aunt Glory!

Mommy thought these clothes looked small when she was washing them before I got here ~ but I have some room to grow!

Evening Two!!

Well, sure enough, they let us go...........and even a little bit early! We left at 8:30! I thought that was pretty cool to get some clothes on, and I am sure you will never guess what daddy chose?! You will find out soon enough!! I go to my pediatrician tomorrow, so I'll give you an update tomorrow on how things are going!

Day Two!

I slept pretty good again last night, but they do know I have lungs!! I had my "little surgery" as mommy called it today at 11:30 and I came back to the room, not in tears, but needing some tender, loving care!! I think I get to home and meet Bella tonight, but I have to stay until at least 9:15 so I have been here for 48 hours ~ Aren't some rules funny?? I have been having some good naps, but getting much better at eating too. Well, now on to some pictures!!

This is when Daddy cut my umbilical cord ~ we didn't get that one on yesterday!!

I'm Here!!

Hi Everybody!
I decided mommy and daddy had been waiting long enough to see me, so Tuesday, January 20 was my day!! Here is how the day went!! Mommy woke up and felt a bit crampy, but off to work she went, not daring to think I might want to make my entrance on the same day that President Obama came into office! Well, by afternoon, those contractions were getting a bit more intense, and following the advise from Auntie Kelly about not getting to the hospital too early, they got there around 6:30 PM. By the time they checked mommy in, she was dialated to between 6 & 7 and by the time the labs were done, there really wasn't time for any epideral! After about 20 minutes of pushing, I was born at 9:13 PM, weighed in at 8 pounds and 20 3/4 inches long. The nurses kept telling mommy I had a lot of hair, but was she ever surprised!! Daddy cut the cord and we have been spending lots of time bonding! I slept really good last night, and they keep waking me up to eat! We get to go home tomorrow ~ I wonder what Bella will think about me?? Stay tuned!!
